How we handle your data

If we emailed you, this page explains why, what we know about you, and how to make us stop.

Want us to stop? Reply “no” to any of our emails, or write to info@foxpillar.net. We'll never contact you again.

Who we are

Foxpillar is operated by Regcon MB, Lithuania. Regcon MB is the controller of the data described here. Contact: info@foxpillar.net.

Why we contacted you

We write to companies, not private persons. We contacted you in your work role because your company appears to fit the businesses we are researching or that our service is meant for. We never send cold emails to private consumers.

What data we use

We don't collect private details such as your family, health or home address.

Where the data comes from

Public sources: official company registers (in Lithuania, for example, Sodra open data), company websites and public business directories. For each record we keep a note of its source.

Legal basis

Our legitimate interest in contacting businesses about our research and services (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time, and we will stop.

How long we keep it

If you don't reply, we delete your contact details within 12 months of our last email. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address and company on a do-not-contact list, so we can make sure we never write to you again.

Who helps us process it

We use a small number of service providers, all under data processing agreements:

If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.

We don't sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or object to it. Write to info@foxpillar.net and we'll answer within one month. You can also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
